*1st Ever Player in Austin's Snek Ring

The Austin Copperheads are a young team but in our short 7 year history we have achieved a great deal and we are now set to have another Austin first.

That achievement is to welcome the inaugural player for our take on the ring of honour, so please with no further ado I would like to congratulate Grayson Kuusela (@WannabeFinn) to enter the Austin Snek Ring

Now a little bit about Grayson Kuusela's career, he started his career being picked in the first round at pick 7 by the lowly New Orleans Second Line. Grayson spent his first 4 years in New Orleans, they were barren award and pro bowl free years but there was light at the end of the tunnel. In the expansion draft he was saved and selected by the Austin Copperheads and his career was about to turn around. After the difficult first season (season 16) that Austin had, Grayson went on to show his amazing ability as a sack monster and recorded 4 straight double didget sack figures in the following 4 seasons. These 4 seasons also included 4 straight pro bowl appearances, a defensive lineman of the year award and of course culminating an Ultimus ring in season 20.

In his full 11 seasons Grayson recorded 484 tackles, 74 sacks, 46 tackles for a loss, 6 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recovery and 2 safeties.

So in the end all I have left to say is thank you Grayson Kuusela for you service, passion and loyalty to Austin, you are now immortalised in the history of this fine organisation, hiss hiss forever baby!
