This season has provided an enormous change for Rucker when it comes to playing in the ISFL. Having had what some would describe as a less than stellar rookie season at the next level Rucker is now primarily playing off the edge. Whilst still being a linebacker he will instead pursue the QB on a long term basis. This is quite the change from Ruckers previous entries in the league having been something of an all purpose linebacker at the DSFL level. This has meant a change in terms of progression for Rucker also. He has begun to develop his pass rushing maneuvers, becoming more agile and learning how to more effectively shed blocks. This isn't something you can learn overnight however and thus far Ruckers progress has been, at best, mediocre. With time however the sky is the limit for Rucker. In a league that is overflowing with Linebacker talent an opportunity to showcase his versatility should stand him in good stead if there were ever a time when Rucker was looking at a free agency bid. With a steadily improving side Rucker is looking to do all that he can in order to assist Honolulu to a post season berth for the first time in the franchises young history.

Quite simply the way Honolulu has changed in the offseason is that everyone has gotten better. For some reason we've been forsaken by the RNG gods and our vast improvement has resulted in an 0-4 record that is incredibly hard to swallow. Moving forward it's clear that we need to improve on the defensive line and are continuing to manage our offense as we try to get back to where we were last season as we were scoring for fun. A big downside for our team this year has been with turnovers, which are coming at a higher rate than we've seen since I took over at GM. Right now we face a very tough next 4 games, with 3 coming on the road and could see ourselves in line for a high pick in the next draft if they don't go well. If for some reason the sim gods change their minds about us, we could find ourselves going into a very favorable stretch of home games with a chance to vault ourselves firmly back in playoff contention. With only one player in regression currently, we're looking to build on our positives and try to fix the biggest negatives that we've seen this year, but starting 0-4 in 3 games where we were clear favorites has started to make this season look like a wash.

So far, Season 26 in the DSFL has brought about a lot of change for the reigning champs, the Tijuana Luchadores. I was lucky enough to be a part of the awesome draft class that saw Tonzy and Swanky bring in 3 offensive player with the three first picks. This shows that there is a lot of change in the roster for Tijuana. I really think that's a good thing though. Sure, there are going to be some growing pains, and I think we saw those when we dropped our week one game. But I also think we saw a lot of promise. There's nobody in the locker room who was discouraged by our week one performance. We have all season to come back and get the 9th Ultimini for our team. On a personal level, the biggest change in my player is that I finally got to put on the Luchadores uniform and that felt amazing. I am so grateful to be a part of the change happening in Tijuana, and there's no question that we're still in the hunt for this years ultimini. I think that with all the change that is happening, having Swanky and Tonzy be our leaders is just the rock we need to be successful for the next couple of years.

Its been an exciting offseason for Arthur Naught, between the ISFL draft and going to Yellowknife, he’s had a lot of change and excitement occur for him on and off the field. Going to Yellowknife is amazing, and the excitement to be a Wraith still hasn’t worn off – he’s thoroughly enjoyed getting to know everyone in Yellowknife and the whole draft itself was a whirlwind – going at 4th overall was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. Hitting the field with the Wraiths was also exciting, and it was constantly new changes – getting used to the new scheme in Yellowknife’s offense, working with Colby Jack on timing, getting to know Sakura and Walker and the other wide outs, and just getting used to the professional football player life. It’s been surreal, but he can’t imagine doing anything else. Plus the Wraiths are 3-1 and, despite the fact his best game personally came during a loss, he’s felt confident about the team’s outlook on the rest of the season and beyond. It’s been a great offseason for Arthur Naught and he can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him. But the draft behind him is good, since now he can focus on getting the Wraiths closer and closer to their goals of bringing a championship north of the 49th.
