Most Valuable Player: Lebron James lll - Quarterback -
James stats are pretty phenomnal, He's got twelve-touchdowns with only two interceptions and Fifteen Hundred and fifty seven yards. He leads the league in touchdowns but not in yardage. However the people ahead of him in terms of yards have all thrown far more picks then him which is why i think he deserves this award. Cobra Kai is an honorable mention for this award, He leads the league in bothing rushing yards and touchdowns so he has a shot at winning it but since the last six DSFL MVPs have all been quarterbacks, I feel like James will get it in the end.
Offensive Player Of The Year: Cobra Kai - Running Back -
This choice comes with a huge caveat, I think if LBJll wins MVP then Kai will win OPOY but if Kai wins MVP then I see LBJlll winning this award. If Kai does win it , It'd be his second year in a row with the award. He'd be the first person to win it back to back years in history which might be more impressive then a single MVP award.
Deffensive Player Of The Year: Steven Wadham - Safety -
Wadman has two defensive touchdowns and leads the league in interceptions. Interestingly enough, I think his biggest competiton for this award is fellow London Royals player Fauxjo Jojo whose tied for the league lead in sacks. A.J Lucas from Kansas City is another honorable mention here because he leads the league in tackles but I'd personally vote Wadham here.
Oscar Issac of the Luchadores also deserves a mention because he's tied with Jojo for sacks but he's got more tackles for loss then Jojo.
Offensive Rookie Of The Year: Madison Hayes - Running Back -
This is a real close race between Hayes and Eleven Kendrick-Watts. Hayes eight hundred and twenty-six rushing yards plus four tochdowns whereas Watts has five-hundred and ninety four yards plus two touchdowns. I think it's clear why I chose Hayes here.
Defensive Rookie Of The Year: Fauxjo Jojo - Defensive End -
He's a rookie who leads the league in sacks. I feel like that's pretty clear cut though Bean Beanman has been pretty impressive. He leads the league in Tackles For Loss and has six sacks of his own. This is kind of a tossup but I go with Jojo here.
Quarterback Of The Year: Lebron James lll -
If he wins MVP, It makes sense for him to also get his positional award.
Running Back Of The Year: Cobra Kai -
If Kai were to win this award which I think he will, he would be the first player to win Running Back Of The Year in back to back years since Borro Gore all the way back in season 7.
Wide Receiver Of The Year: Alex Reed -
This is a really close race between Reed and Marco Mossi of the Portland Pythons. Reed has seven-hundred and twenty-five yards with four touchdowns versus six hundread and twenty-eight yards plus five touchdowns for Mossi. Mossi also won this award last year which could either help him or hurt him in voting.
Tight End Of The Year - Frank Mitchell -
Mitchell has three-hundred and twelve yards which the second most reception yards of any Tight End however he has four touchdowns as opposed to James Wilkinson who leads him in yards but has none.
Offensive Lineman Of The Year - Maiteers Rico-Shea -
This is one super short and sweet. He's got the most pancakes with forty-two and he's given up zero sacks on the year.
Defensive End Of The Year - Oscar Issac -
This is a hard one. I feel like it's a toss up between Jojo and Issac for this award but since I gave Jojo Defensive Rookie Of The Year already, I'll hand DLOY to Issac.
Defensive Tackle Of The Year - Fergus Callaghan Jr. -
He's got the most sacks out of any defensive tackle in the league. It's that simple, do I really need to say anything else?
Linebacker Of The Year - A.J Lucas -
Lucas has the most tackles of anyone in the league as well as two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, an interception and four pass deflections.
Safety Of The Year - Steven Wadham -
If I think Wadham is the Defensive Player Of The Year, It makes perfect sense for him to also win his positional award.
Cornerback Of The Yeat - - Elijah Torres -
He's tied the cornerback with the most interceptions (3) and has forty-five tackles so far as well as three tackles for loss.
Kicker Of The Year - Gluteus Maximus -
This is a close race. Maximus has has the highest field goal percentage at Nine-Three Point Three percent and he's tied for the most field goals with fourteen however he's only got an Ninety-Five Point Five Extra Point percentage with twenty-one out of twenty-two Extra Points made. Vernal Bloodshine on the other hand has a perfect One Hundred percent Extra Point with twenty out of twenty Extra Points made but he's missed three field goals. I'd give it to Maximus because I think missed field goals are worse then missed Extra Points but it's something to take not of.
Punter Of The Year - Gluteus Maximus -
Another interesting race on Special Teams. Maximus has the most punt yards with Two Thousand Nine-Hundred And Thirty Eight but he's only got six punts within the twenty-yard line compared to an impressive fifteen from Armando Galarraga of the Kansas City Coyotes. However Maximus has the most yards punted per average with Forty-Seven Point Four Yards per punt so I expect him to take him both this and kicker of the year.
Kick Returner Of The Year - Anders Christiansen - Running Back -
Anders has five hundred and thirty six kick return yards with two touchdowns. He leads the league in both Kickreturn touchdowns and yardage while also averging the highest number of yards gained per kick return. He's the clear cut favorite to win this award.
General Managers Of The Year -
@RDBSouthPaw and @furiousPanda
The Pythons are 8-1 which is the best record in the league and they're undefeated at home. Granted, The point of a DSFL team is to groom players for the ISFL itself but I think on-field sucess is a valid way to judge this award.
