While it is not my team now, the Philadelphia Liberty have to consider putting up a statue of Vikian Marmeladov. Marmeladov was one of the key pieces to the Championships that Liberty won. Starting from the 15 round pick in the inaugural season, at the time of the NSFL, Marmeladov worked his butt to make the starting line-up of the Colorado Yeti and make an immediate impact, and even winning the Championship in his first year. But as throughout his whole career he was underrated and thought to be expandable, so he was exposed by the Yeti in the expansion draft. Liberty would grab and he quickly became a leader for the team. He would lead the team through his tenure in Interceptions and Defensive Touchdowns. He then would be traded to the Baltimore Hawks and kept his tough play going and won a few more Championships. When Vikian Marmeladov was asked about his time in NSFL, he stated “I have so many memories but 90 percent of them came from my time in Philly. I loved that city, the city and the fans loved me. I never had one bad interaction there, except when someone smashed my car windshield...But we don't talk about that. Obviously it would be an honor to have a statue of oneself in the city that embraced me”.

I really think that the obvious candidate for the Arizona Outlaws to immortalise in a statue is their current star cornerback, Rich Triplet. Since joining the team from San Jose a couple of seasons ago, Rich has done a lot to completely transform the culture of the team and establish them as a real threat for everyone in the league. I think that they are real favorites this season and as candidates go for who is responsible for this, I think that Rich has arguably done a lot more for making the team what they are today than any GM, coach or scout could ever hope to do. My only concern with making a Rich Triplet statue is that it would not do a good enough job of commemorating his greatness. It would need to be at least 15 feet tall, and one of the best sculptors/statue artists in the world would have to be hired in order to ensure that it lives up to the incredible standards that are required. I would hope that this is an idea that has already been discussed at great lengths by the team, and I look forward to the day when Marcus Jones receives his invite to the statue unveiling.

Based on my short tenure with the team and relatively short tenure in the league there are only a few names that really jump out to me that I could recommend. The easy answer among those though is the only player in the history of the league to win Defensive Player of the Year three times and that is linebacker Mo Berry. They were drafted by the Colorado Yeti back in 2030 and played out their entire Hall of Fame career with the team. Beyond that their last Defensive Player of the Year win coincided with the franchise's sole Ultimus win and I think that connection makes him the best choice to get a statue.

That said there is a different case that can be made that I am also going to make here as they currently play for the team and the fact that I respect their career a great deal. Option two in my eyes is defensive tackle Bubba Thumper with their two Defensive Line of the Year awards, and their one Defensive Tackle of the Year away they are similarly well decorated to Berry. They were also present for the Yeti's historic Ultimus win which I feel is important for consideration here. What gives them a case to compete with Berry though is their much longer career length, and that they are playing for the Yeti in their final season despite having played elsewhere for a portion of their career. Bubba came back to Colorado to play as a rotational pass rusher for the Yeti to end their career and for that reason I think they are the best choice to get a statue.

Now after tearing up whatever shortlist the team had and presenting these two cases it comes down to a vote of who deserves it more. Berry never played with Murder-Moose whereas Thumper is playing with Murder-Moose now, and to avoid any member of the staff being murdered Thumper wins out. Thank you for your time!

For the Minnesota Grey Ducks, I would say that the player that should be immortalised should be Zach Vega. A Minnesota Grey Duck hall of famer, two time ultimate champion and at one time considered the best Quarterback in the league, Vega was everything that would want your franchise quarterback. A natural leader, an honest man and hard worker, Zach would give his all every single time he was on the field and would inspire many QB’s long after his time with the Grey Ducks ended. The man is still a beloved figure to this day in the Minnesota community and thus is remembered fondly.

If not Vega, a promising second pick would be Tychonious Hood. The prototypical wide receiver that was also inspire generations of wide receivers after him, the man in his one season with the grey ducks would be the stuff of legend. Offensive Rookie of the Year, Overall Rookie of the year and Wide Receiver of the year (all of which he won in one year might I add) he would be considered one of the best wide receivers of his class and would be a player fondly remembered for being the most exciting player to watch, leaving Grey Duck fans with one nasty highlight reel.

I would select Crody & Russ! For the ducky statue at least. What led me to pick them for the ducky statues? I chose them because they picked the jobs up after Voiceless going to the Yeti, then when CC went to the butchers. They did such an INCREDIBLE job building the team, along with keeping it all going! They’re keeping the wonderful Minny traditions going. They’re both just such amazing people, teammates, but also really great GMs! I’m not on that team as of right now, which is to be determined in the DSFL draft, but that’s okay! I’m with KCC right now and I’m loving it so far. As for KCC, I would say a pack of wolves for the statue! I say this because the team is just so well kept together whilst well...being a pack! I’m so far loving the environment of the team and LR! They’ve welcomed me with open arms and been very inclusive! I haven’t been on the team for very long but I’ve already started to develop a liking for the team, the players, and GMs! I’m really excited to be on the team for the time being, and I hope for greatness with them while I’m here!

For my International Simulation Football League week number four point task regarding the resurrection of a statue of a player outside the Bondi Beach Buccaneers Stadium, Emu War Memorial Stadium, I will be choosing one of the greatest defensive tackles in recent history for the Bucs, GOAT TANK. Casted in Moroccan brass, with highlights of platinum, emerald and gold, this astounding 25 ft tall beast will be front and center. Right outside Gate C of the stadium, the main fifty yard line gate on Beach Blvd. Standing in his patented “one goal, to sack, 3 point, for pain” stance. Fans will be able to have Instagram photograph opportunities underneath the statue as well as sitting inside GOAT’s Statues helmet. I wont even go through the meaningless task of describing why this statue is resurrected, there should be no other statues on earth besides this one, there is NO ONE better than the GOAT TANK. He is so good he had to be nerfed into a running back where he is still the GOAT. When the League announced the subsidation of funding to all teams to have one of their players immortalized, before the message was even completed the work to plan and construct this 8th wonder of the world was started. Grand Opening will be the last week of Season 29, hope to see you all there!

I think there are a few that come to mind for the history of the New Orleans Second Line. There have been many superstars but some stand out. The most obvious one would be the most famous quarterback in team history, Borkus Maximus III. He is one of the best quarterbacks of all time in league history and deserves the recognition. He would be a very worthy first choice. The second name that comes to mind for me would be famous hall of fame wide receiver Vladimir Fyodorovich. Fyodo was Mister New Orleans for a long long time and always stayed true to our team. He would be a great choice for us as well. On defense, the most obvious name that comes to my mind would be Quenton Bode, who has the most tackles by soooo much for our team in our history. These three are also in some ways three different eras of our team, with Borkus coming first, then Fyodo after (though overlapping) and then Bode after that. It tells the history of our three eras for sure. This would be a great way for fans to go through and see history from the start of the team, to the middle, and now more recent years as well. A great way to bring attention to different times of our team history.

I am fairly new to this league and also new to Minnesota. I’ve decided to take a recent approach to who I think deserves to be immortalized with a statue outside of the Quack Shack in Duluth, Minnesota. Now I need to preface this write up with the understanding that many many Grey Ducks and San Antonio Marshals are probably more worthy and deserving of a statue, but I personally am unaware. My pick for a statue to be fully erect outside of the stadium is not a full person but a giant leg. Gluteus Maximus’ leg to be specific. This dude is a workout beast and the leg is his most prized possession. This leg should be a work of art that symbolizes one of the greatest boots in not just Minnesota Grey Duck history, but the DSFL itself.

Gluteus Maximus has moved onto the big leagues but has left the Minnesota Grey Duck locker room in a better state than he found it. Maximus currently holds the DSFL record for longest field goal made with a 57 yarder and the DSFL record for the longest punt punted with a 65 yard bomb. If Gluteus Maximus played instead for a team like the Seawolves, he probably would have the record for the most field goals made in a single game, but he was on a decent team. The record is currently making six total in a single game and Maximus has only had the opportunity to put five through the uprights during one game of Season 28.

Come on, let's be honest. You're really going to try to find someone from a DSFL team who deserves a statue? You already know the answer. It's In Active. And no, I'm not saying that because In Active is a god damned stud (but he is, so don't ever forget that). I choose In Active because of who and what he represents in this case.

Every season, guys come into the league. Guys full of piss and vinegar. Guys who are going to make a name for themselves and be the MVP of the Ultimini. Some of these guys go on to have great careers. But then there's the other guys.

These are the guys who burn bright in the night sky, then fizzle out in a lackluster flash. The guys who, despite no one remembering their names, managed to have a random big play at a random time that saves a season. The guy who manages to get a player from the other team to commit a penalty, giving our offense a first down - or our defense an extra few yards to work with.

These are the guys who are true legends. These are the guys who In Active plays for (other than himself). These guys are the Inactives. They need a Bud Light commercial about them, that's how important they are.
