Experimenting with MUT-style player cards this week, using a modified template I found online, if that changes the grading process in any way (since this isn't entirely my own work)
Advice and criticism is welcomed, I'm still relatively new to all this.

First one. Took a while trimming out the background of the image and then blending out certain details and turning the 2 into a 7 -- bonus points for accuracy?
Still not very good at making backgrounds, but I'm told this is because I don't have good brushes. Any advice on good resources for that would be appreciated.

Second attempt. Much quicker to do now that I have the process kinda worked out and I realised that I don't need to clean up the edges all that neatly in the end, because I'm doing a blurred layer underneath anyway and it's almost impossible to see against the background. Also I just noticed I forgot to put the NSFL logo on the uniform >_>
Anyway, I tried a blue background instead of red this time. Not sure which one I prefer looks-wise. I feel like I'm biased because red is my fave colour haha.
