I asked about that but they wanted to keep the developmental league so players can bring in their own stories and background from their "college days". Also for however many colleges there are we definitely cannot cover that many. We only have 4 dsfl teams with players and still fill up maybe half of the positions. And if someone gets drafted but doesn't have enough TPE to compete, they can go back down to the dsfl unlike college. Although there is the argument of staying multiple years to combat that.
