I agree with you that me an Ernston are very close to each other, and it could go either way. However I think the fact that I was surrounded by an elite front 7 should not count against my performance as if anything it would actually hurt my performance. If I don't get to the ballcarrier and make that tackle immediately, somebody else is right there behind me to do it themselves, no second chances on the Otters defense for stats. If you want to eat you better hurry.

Let's also not leave out William Ridley in this conversation. He had the same sacks as Ernston, 1 more INT, 2 more FF, 4 more PDs, but 5 less TFLs. I'd argue that an INT, 2 FF, and 4 PDs > 5 TFLs.
Or Vikian Marmaledov who led the league in interceptions with 7, took 2 of them to the house, AND got a safety.

Also, I'm not sure you're the oldest GM...
