Also I'd like to point out that while Kennedy is an excellent choice for OPoY we shouldn't consider him without ANY challengers at all.
Kennedy: 1873 Scrimmage yards (receiving + rushing), 15 TDs
Yates: 1789 Scrimmage Yards, 21 TDs
So Kennedy got 84 more Yards than Yates, but Yates found paydirt 6 more times.
We can also consider their yards per touch in there too.
Kennedy: 130 catches, 51 rushes
Yates: 80 catches, 137 rushes
So Kennedy's 181 touches resulted in 10.34 yards per touch. Not bad. Not bad at all.
Yates only resulted in 8.24 yards per touch. So Kennedy gets the edge there, he had a ton of volume in the pass game.
Still a tossup and I can see it going either way, but let's not pretend Kennedy was the only elite performer this year.
