During his season in Tijuana, Forfeit was quickly became well known, for both his kicking ability on the football field and for his involvement with the police. One of the first known incidents came from an altercation between a bar owner in downtown Tijuana. After a day of practicing, Forfeit went out for some drinks at a bar, with some friends of his, he meet in Tijuana. Well at the bar a waitress came by with a couple of shots of tequila, she told Forfeit that the shots were from a couple of females a few tables away. "What the fuck do you thots want?", Forfeit was reported to have told the waitress and the girls who gave him the shots, as he was dumping them onto the ground. He then, according to reports threw the shots glasses on the ground, smashing them. Him and his friends than finished their drinks and went to leave the bar, where they were stopped by the bar owner, who wanted Forfeit to pay for the shots. Forfeit ignored him and continued on walking out of the bar, with the owner following him. As Forfeit is going to enter his friend's vehicle, the bar owner grabs him trying to get his attention. Forfeit turns around and punches the owner, knocking him to the ground, before the vehicle pulled away. Forfeit was questioned by the police for the assault, but no charges were pressed.
