Boss Tweed had a surprising run in with the police during the early days of his NSFL career. It was just a few weeks after the draft when he was still the third string running back of the Yeti and was still a relatively unknown player. One day after practice, he was walking down the street and was suddenly surrounded by police officers. They put him in handcuffs and took him away to the police station. They held him there for a few hours before releasing him as suddenly as they had arrested him. It turned out they were looking for a man accused of murder and had a sketch of the suspect that had been produced by their sketch artist. The man looked very similar to Tweed so they thought he was the suspect and brought him in for questioning. However, once they found out that he was a football player who played for the Yeti, they saw that he had been in practice at the time of the crime and had an alibi, so he couldn't be the suspect. It was a strange and confusing occurence that added a wrinkle to the early stages of Tweed's career. Luckily now that he has become a star, Tweed is well known around Colorado and is unlikely to end up in another sticky situation like this again.
