(S6) - Weekend PT 2 - Locker Room

At the end of the game after my first sack, the Orange County Otters locker room had a surprise celebration in store for me, featuring a case of Crispin Blackberry Pear cider and a big box of freshly made then frozen mushroom ravioli from my favorite Italian grocery from back home, Labriola's. The food was obviously mine to take home - a big house of a defensive tackle needs to eat after all - but the drinks, well they were obviously for the party we held in the locker room. There were a few extra special invitees picked from the crowd and invited down to liven things up a bit, of course. Now clearly they didn't know the rookie that well, as I hate surprises, but they knew me well enough to get my favorites, so it was definitely a great night as well as a welcome to the team of sorts. Naturally, a similar party was held for fellow rookie Elvin Enchant, although not on the same night.
