Also, just to clarify:
I'm simply expressing my opinion. The purpose of this was more as an easy topic to get myself pissed off about, putting me into rant writing mode and making a ton of money, than to affect real change. I do think Pens should not be punished, I don't think he violated the rule, and I think the very fact we can "think" someone did or didn't violate the rule points to a problem with the rule itself. It should be factual that either he did or didn't violate it and interpretation shouldn't be a thing. I do think the rule should be rewritten to define abuse and to completely remove valid reasoning, so that there is no room to interpret the rule. I also think there are probably several other rules that need the same treatment, although I didn't sit and comb the rulebook. As a member with a journalism and literature degree, someone who knows a thing or two about writing, I'd be willing to go through the rulebook and find instances where there's a lack of clarity, and work with HO to write them more clearly where possible - in exchange for money or TPE, of course, if they're interested. I don't expect they'll be interested. I also don't actually expect HO to apologize to Pens, that shit never happens in real life, even when people get falsely imprisoned they get some modest stipend that doesn't amount to anything.
