Season 1 went 21 rounds of 6 teams each. Most were active

Season 2 went 10(?) rounds of 8 teams. Most were active.

Season 4 has what like 12 active players?

Season 5 had... 18? Maybe 20 actives

Sim leagues almost always find their largest drafts as their first and second drafts.

SBA
S1 - 48 picks
S2 - 24 picks
S30(current season) - 11 uncapped picks

GOMHL
S1 - 42 picks
S2 - 18 picks
S18(last draft) - 23 picks

VHL:
S1 - 56 picks
S2 - 40 picks
S59(current season) - 16 picks

SHL:
S1 - 48 picks
S2 - 63 picks
S39(current season) - 61 picks

This isn't the case always as you can see, but it is an understandable issue to run into where your first and/or second draft really stands high above the rest. SHL has beat this curve but A) has done an incredible job of recruiting, and B) still had a massive S2 that is still keeping the slight edge on drafts almost 40 seasons later. GOMHL is doing well right now but for a while that was not the case, they had to build for a few seasons to get to where they are now, and still had a first season that was head over heels the best draft class

Us in HO definitely care about the health of the league and the addition of members into the league, and will continue to work to add more new members to the site, but i assure you the league is in good shape with having a 33 pick draft in S6, and hope this number continues to grow as our season number does
