Also, I'd love your insight on whether I've interpreted the std dev correctly in regard to the average margin for Wraiths and Hawks games. What are your thoughts? Which are, on average, closer?

Without being able to look at the point totals individually for each game it's tough to say. The 28 point win vs Baltimore could be skewing things a little. Either way it's up to interpretation and both YKW and BAL have had a very close record vs the Cats.

If I had to choose I'd probably stick with average point differential as my deciding factor with W/L as the tiebreaker so Hawks seems like the closer opponent.
