This was the idea that the Hawks put forth that got voted down so hard. The one Hendrix referenced on the first page in the "we're the only ones that care because everyone voted down our one idea" post.
The lack of support came from none of the GMs wanting forced contact changes during the life of the contract. And also it limits GMs severely.
Just as taking money out of the system via stricter media payout limits or removal limits players themselves really only leads to less media.
There's a weird obsession with trying to shrink what people can do. And why?
