Oh man this has been a crazy frustrating season for Blackford Oakes because the dastardly Connor Tanner has been trying to sabotage his season and his career with various nefarious plots such as giving him wedgies, putting banana peels outside his front door, telling his doggo that he's not a good boy, paying pizza boys to put pineapple on his delivery, and above all else achieve his ultimate goal of stealing Blackford Oakes' magical ring that allowed him to resist Connor's blackmail and bribery that caused so many ~ACTIVE AND CONTRIBUTING~ members of the site to retire in a scandal that rocked the league and nearly caused it to collapse which is Connor's actual ultimate goal the ultimate goal of stealing the ring is just a stepping stone you know something that he needs to do in order to achieve his ultimate ultimate goal so yeah it's been frustrating trying to deal with all this off field nonsense but luckily the New Orleans Second Line are a great team who have had lots of success on the field which helps assuage the slight annoyance of dealing with Connor's antics plus it's kind of fun cooking up plots to get revenge but overall yeah very frustrating situation to be in when you could just be playing football you know it's a distraction and stuff.
