Question: At some point just after I joined, I remember reading some suggestions about allowing players to stay 2 years in the DSFL and that they would have to declare their intentions to go to the draft or stay in the DSFL. Is that something that you expect to come up in the summits, and is that something that I will have to plan for/think about? Or am I guaranteed to be in the next NSFL draft?
This is still up for debate, but can certainly be submitted for a rule proposal. Players are welcome to stay in the DSFL for as long as the team that drafted them is sending them down every season. However, there are teams that will need a big talent surge to help them out immediately like the Yeti or Second Line. If a player opts to stay another season, it can really hinder a team in the NSFL because they won't be able to use that player right away and have to wait another (potentially dismal) season.
Good write-up @Roly! I am sad to say that it will definitely be my last season as GM for the Pythons.
