(S6) - PT4 - Frustrations

While the Pythons themselves have had a good season overall, it seems, my own debut did not go according to the script. Rather than a talented defensive end turning in a dominant performance to set the tone for the remainder of the DSFL season, I came out with rather pedestrian output and, worse, a number in the right column. While I plan to remedy this, of course, and bounce back as soon as possible, losing this one stung a bit, especially after seeing that the Pythons had an impressive 7-3 mark on the season beforehand. While allowing sixteen points, defensively, certainly is not a shame in and of itself, it stings to know that the team was, perhaps, one big play away from coming out with a win in this one, and I failed to deliver that big play, resulting in only one forced turnover, and myself being nothing more than a side note in this first appearance.

Our matchup with the Coyotes in our next outing is a big one, however. We both sit at 7-4, so taking them down there would put us in first place in our conference, which would be huge at this stage of the season with only three more games, total, in the DSFL's regular season slate.
