Robbed
Obviously the Baltimore Hawks probably should have made the playoffs over the scrub Yellowknife Wraiths I mean really the Wraiths were like 2-4-1 at one point in the season and the Hawks choked away their easy playoff berth to a team that couldn't even beat New Orleans, they only tied New Orleans. Who even does that? The only team New Orleans could beat all year were the Colorado Yeti who had historically the worst defense in the history of the NSFL in every single measurable category. But the Wraiths squeezed into the playoffs because the Hawks, I dunno, decided to take a break or something. Don't get me wrong, it was close, and the Hawks put up a good fight because it came down to one final game at the end of the season but here's the thing it really should not have come down to one final game because seriously the Wraiths were 2-4-1 at one point. That's like a 0.27 win percentage. That's terrible. And now they made the playoffs. The Hawks let them off the hook and this probably showcases how relatively weak the NSFC was this year compared to the ASFC. But the Hawks were robbed, or at least, they robbed themselves

Series MVP
The MVP of the Otters - Sabercats game was obviously that Bavitz fella. This dude, who is a free safety I might add, racked up something like three sacks including one safety. Home boy was all over the place. He may have been the MVP but I struggle to even say that he was the Otter's MVP in that game because the Otters are so stacked they may have been fine without Bavitz or with some scrub safety instead of Bavitz. Part of why Bavitz probably did so well is because the Otters have such a great D line that don't get pancaked like scrubs, so there's no free offensive linemen to block a blitzing safety who then has a straight shot at the quarterback. This is absolutely not a knock on Bavitz who obviously is a star player in the league but rather it shows just how stinkin good and well built the Otters defense actually is. They may have taken a step back this year but that's pretty relative, they are still an elite defense and I'm sure most of the league is just waiting for them to run into inevitable cap problems to split them up. Bavitz was a beast and was the obvious MVP of that game.

You know what? Screw it. New Orleans should have made the playoffs if only because of how much heart and soul they have this team was a ghost town and d e d DED before this season and they DOUBLED their number of wins from last year. Yeah sure maybe they're still terrible and yeah sure maybe they aren't good enough to make the playoffs but they most certainly deserved it at the very least. Compared to the Colorado "Next year for real this time guys we promise" Yeti, the Arizona "we can be good without multis guys please take us seriously" Outlaws, and the Baltimore "we let a 2-4-1 team bounce back and knock us out of the playoffs" Hawks I don't see any other non-playoff teams deserving of a play off spot more than New Orleans to be quite honest. And frankly, who cares if they just get destroyed in the playoffs anyways. They deserve to be there because they are the only team who still has FUN and enjoys LIFE and has HEART. The Yellowknife Wraiths are soul-less ghosts who are frozen in Canada. All the Liberty do is complain about every little thing ever and yeah maybe they were right about Er but holy crap shut up every one is out to get you we get it. And the Otters are just annoying always winning all the time how dare they who do they think they are. New Orleans best team and should have made playoffs.

Root for the Underdog
The Liberty can definitely beat the Otters on the road. Why? Because the Liberty running game sucks donkey kong dong. They can't run the ball at all so instead they gotta pass. And spoiler alert: That's how you win on the road. The sim takes home field advantage into account by doing lots of penalties and by changing how the ball is spotted using the little dots (you can actually see this pretty clearly during streams). Combine that together and the aspect of the game that is punished the most on away teams is the run game. If you try to run a lot you'll eventually get slapped with a 10 yard penalty which you can only make up for by passing, and your runs are more negatively effective percentage wise than passes are because of the ball spotting thing. This shouldn't bother to Liberty too much though, because they mostly just pass anyways. Or at least they'd be smart to do that. But it only takes one game, even if they're underdogs. Something something any given sim something. I genuinely do think the Liberty may be able to pull it off. I don't know who I'm rooting for though, I like half like the Liberty and half don't like them. But they can pull it off for sure.
