Angus Winchester keeps his training pretty simple, He's a big fan of powerlifting workouts of low reps and very heavy weight. It's common to see him squatting over 700lbs in the weight room or deadlifting 800lbs. However none of that is very unique, especially in the OC locker room where other guys like Clegane are doing the same thing. What does set Winchester apart is how he does his cardio workouts. Winchester still retains his old offensive lineman training for cardio and he is all about the prowler sleds. You can commonly see Winchester strapped to a sled and pulling it loaded down with 300lbs as he sprints up an down the sideline. Usually after that he'll flip it around and push the sled for a while as well. He will usually spend up to an hour a day during his cardio training sprints and weighted sprints. He's the only guy still doing it on the field but his performance in the pass rush shows it pays off.
