Pfft...
I tried to get this going during like Season 1.
Proof!
More proof
Edit: And I requested a subforum be added for forum games like mafia: Changes
Anyways, I'd be interested, however I kinda disagree with some of the set ups.
1.) not revealing the alignment of the player when they are lynched (which is how SBA is currently playing) seems kinda crazy to me. This definitely powers up the werewolf team a lot, which in turn allows for more power roles for town, but really takes away from the core aspect of the game which is using player interaction to determine alignment. Instead it puts mostly everything on power roles.
2.) I'd prefer absolute voting, as in if 7 players are in the game, and a player gets 4 votes, that is majority and they will be lynched regardless if someone tries to unvote. This adds more weight to the vote as well as letting players self moderate instead of having a specific deadline time.
Edit: By self moderate, If I am voting for a player and see that player get voted by someone else and they are one vote away from being lynched, I could demand they tell me what they are, or possibly unvote to ensure someone doesn't throw the hammer vote and quick lynch them.
(If someone gets majority, the game becomes twilight which means the lynch will happen the next time the moderator can check/post and they players can still make posts until the moderator reveals the identity of who was lynched and makes it night time.
/Endrant from someone who has probably played like 500+ hours of forum mafia, and probably as much IRL.
