FWIW, I was discouraged by SBA's carryover TPE, but did still give it a chance. I can't say it was one of the major reasons I quit.
As a new player who joined the SBA fairly recently, I think getting bumped up to the pro league at 200 tpe is fine. However, it was pretty jarring to see players with 400 + TPE going up to SBA from the NCAA. No way for a new player to achieve that TPE amount vs the older players. Seems like an unfair advantage. Also, I kinda dislike the extra TPE gains for holding jobs in that league also feels kinda bad (cap of 12 per week where the average player can only hit 9).
I prefer NSFL's style where things are fair, and you get fair "pay"for your work, it just takes time to cash it in, and for really rich people... a long time.
