I'm excited to watch the growth of a pair of defensive linemen on the Portland Pythons, as well as to see where they will end up going in the draft. These two players are defensive tackle James Brown and defensive end Young Spahgetti. These two were studs for the Pythons through the course of our Ultimini run, and without them we likely would not have had the stout defensive play that we did through the course of that campaign. I think that both of these guys have the potential to, and will be, taken early in the draft as clear-cut, talented players who could have both an immediate and a lasting impact on their NSFL teams. Brown and Spaghetti were both able to produce last season, with Spaghetti in particular becoming a tackling machine in a few of Portland’s contests, and Brown having dominated the middle of the line of scrimmage consistently.
