Darren Morris loves holidays. And while that may seem like an obvious statement, he doesn’t share the same feeling with a lot of his family who are too busy working to celebrate together. Morris likes to spend his time going to Oklahoma and getting away into nature on long holiday weekends - he loves getting into the state parks and relaxing with some pints and a good set of BBQ ribs, roasted on the open fire. He’s a big outdoorsman, so memorial weekend coming near the start of summer is big for Morris - it means the start of his avid northern state camping and off-roading season. It’s another reason Darren Morris loves playing for the Arizona Outlaws - the desert in Arizona allows for longer camping and hiking and General summer seasons. Indeed it’s often almost year around the Morris gets to get out to the desert and some of the other Arizona landmarks and grill on the BBQ. But he still loves using Memorial weekend to hit up northern states like Michigan or New York to get into some proper woods and forests. He sometimes even goes into Canada - the parks are endless and the tranquility incredible.
