He has been a pass rushing FORCE for San Antonio and a massive part of their defense so far this season. There is a possibility the Marshals continue to review their defensive scheme and approach, so they may alter their tactics to a point where they don't send him on the rush. They may be thinking that after their first losses came in back-to-back weeks at Kansas City and home against Tijuana.
With a balanced build, they may let him back off some to play the pass coverage, especially going up against the Luchadores twice more this season and their pass-happy setup behind QB Sam Penner.
