Other than a probable bump in the salary wouldn't it make sense for Kamaka to opt-out to save his team a draft pick?

In that case, this trade is really bad for Philly - the swap of S9 1st that might end up being a wash (or even gain for Yeti) with probable fire-sale by Liberty. Then let's assume Kamaka makes logical move and opt-outs and only thing Liberty getting for their former GM, soon to be Head Office member, S3 800 TPE player (which one might say is probably most valuable regression class to be at the moment) is S10 2nd rounder of a team that should finish rather high in that season, so we are looking at pick in 13-16 range.

To me this price seems fishy and ludicrous - Simmilar quality player costed 3 picks - 1st rounder and 2 two thirds + 340 TPE inactive.
There is another comparable deal:
Otters Co-GM trade - the trade where a player of the similar profile (high earner, great regression class to make immediate impact, really active member of the community) was traded, but this netted the NOLA First Rounder (7th OA) and top 3 earning prospect in his class.

I agree 100%. However, I don't think Kamaka had any ill will when constructing this trade. And I do believe he will honor his contract. I can say that if I were Liberty GM at the time, the price would have been significantly higher though.
