Well personally, I would have kept him and tried to win again this year. Considering we are only 1 game out of first place and with a home game remaining against the team we are 1 behind. However, he decided to trade himself and possibly gave his new team a huge advantage contingency. I'd happily have taken the Yeti S9 1, S10 1, and S10 2. The issue is not only did we include our own S9 1, which why the hell would a team committed to rebuilding do, but we also said if Kamaka opts out, Yeti keep their S10 1.
So if we tank the rest of this season, Yeti pass us in the standings, and somehow end up with a better S9 1 pick out of this trade. Then Kamaka opts out, so they keep their S10 1. Then Kamaka resigns with the Yeti. So we would net a S10 2 in exchange for moving down in the S9 1st round and Kamaka. I mean that isn't even remotely fair.
