The Yeti went through a long rebuild process but seem to be coming out of it now. After Season 2, the Yeti saw quarterback Logan Noble suspended along with some other players requesting trades and they started a full scale fire sale as they realized they were not in position to contend in a very tough NSFC. They decided to build up some future assets to build a younger team that would be ready to contend within a few years. They hit some road bumps as the Season 4 draft ended up being the weakest in NSFL history and some of the picks they traded for in that draft were unusable and they started to build around quarterback Nick Pierno who never really worked out at the NSFL level as he stopped training just around the point that he was starting to turn a corner. The rebuild ended up taking longer than expected as they had to build instead around a new quarterback by drafting Ryan Applehort and they traded some older players like Boss Tweed for players who would be able to help during their contention window. But over the course of those rough seasons, the Yeti have gotten some high draft picks and have added a lot of young talent to the roster. The Yeti are starting to show a lot of promise now as they are still in the playoff race this year entering the final weeks of the season and they are in a win now mode trading for some more experienced players to help push them over the edge to contention. It's been a long rebuild, but the Yeti now have a roster with a lot of talented young players after building through the draft for a while and they look poised to be top contenders in a couple years as these players develop.
