The Baltimore Hawks went all in this year. The feeling in the front office (and around the league) was that the Hawks were a true contender for the Ultimus. After some impressive wins and a 3-0 start, it looked like people may have been right. Then, tragedy hit. The Hawks forgot how to do much of anything well and went 1-7 in the next 8 games. However, they began to return to form, won the next 3 games, and narrowly clinched their first playoff appearance since season 5. Regardless of how things go this season, it has become readily apparent however that things are going to have to change soon. They Hawks have a fantastic core on both the offense and defense, but they’re definitely on the old side. LeClair finished with just under 1200 yards receiving and lead the league in TD receptions, but he’s a season 1 rookie and will take his second regression hit this off-season, while QB Blocksdale and RB Taylor will both undergo their first regression. On the defensive side, Hendrix, Broadway, Turner under go their second regression, with Valentine hanging up his cleats for good. There are some young, very bright spots on the team however, specifically with L’Alto on offense and Asipi and Gabino of defense, who look to be the best young defensive line in the NSFL.
