The San Antonio Marshals rebuild was short lived, but was incredibly effective in the process of gaining them talented players that would eventually lead them to the incredible season they had in S8. The Marshals finished S7 with a poor record and saw themselves taking a first round exit at the hands of the Tijuana Luchadores, their divisional rivals, but through careful trades by their general managers, the team had set themselves up for success in the long run by bringing in key draft picks that would aid them in bringing in stars through the draft. The team chose to progress through their youth rather than attempting to build around veterans, but kept players such as Weathers, Chipmunk, and Catcherman at their core, making an elite unit that could be upgraded. The team added fresh blood like Kevin Fitzpatrick, Marquise Brown and the Marchand Brothers who have been phenomenal, and an outstanding corner back in Oskar Ludvig along with premier talent Bucky Barnes who has been integral to their success. The team is looking to make a deep playoff attempt starting Monday in a rematch of last season's playoffs, while competing against Tijuana once again. Make sure you don't miss it.
