I think its incredibly well documented that the Colorado Yeti have been in a rebuild for quite a few seasons now. It started back in S5 when they drafted myself and Andre Bly Jr. We were planning to be cornerstones of the franchise, but sadly I was a jerk and got myself out of there. Colorado saw themselves fight through two winless seasons, BUT from trading a few veterans (like the best player in franchise history Boss Tweed) for picks, the Yeti found themselves in a great position to rebuild. Those picks turned into just absolute studs for Colorado, with standouts such as wide receivers Dwayne Aaron and Howard Miller, WR turned RB Mark Grau, Kicker Micycle McCormick, and QB Ryan Applehort among others. Finally, after a lot of suffering, the Yeti enjoyed a breakout season, going 6-8 and missing out on the playoffs by one game. With the Liberty rebuilding now, and the Hawks hitting regression, the Yeti are poised to join the Yellowknife Wraiths in the playoffs next season. It was a long, hard road for these guys, and I’m personally thrilled for them as they’re building the team up nicely. It may not have worked out as fast as they wanted it to, but Colorado is on their way now in the NSFL. (216)
