Root for the Underdog
The New Orleans Second Line travel to Orange County to today to take on the Otters and I do believe that they have a good shot at winning the game if I do say so myself it will be a close one I am sure as NOLA and the Otters have matched up well against each other so far this season but the Otters have an intrinsic advantage as they were able to squeeze out home field advantage which given how dumb the sim is this is a ridiculous advantage to have but do not worry the NOLA NOLAers will turn it around this time their offense is dynamic and has been on fire during the second half of the season and their defense is no slouch though obviously Mike Boss is very good at what he does and it all depends on if NOLA is able to contain the Otters passing game and if the Otters can stop the NOLA offense once again and I don't think they will be able to I think that NOLA will win and go on to the Ultimus for the first time in franchise history yes I do believe this if I do say so myself.

New Talent
There were a lot of trades involving the New Orleans Second Line that will have a huge impact but none as big as when NOLA acquired star corner back Benson Bayley. NOLA had one hole on their defense... their #2 corner back was just not up to par and opposing quarterbacks were able to take advantage of that mis match all season. Getting Bayley was a huge addition to the NOLA defense and should help immensely with slowing down the Otters terrific passing offense. Another trade that NOLA did this season was acquiring Paul DiMirio and King (I forget his first name) from the Liberty. King helps bolster a NOLA defensive line that was only okay and DiMirio provides Borkus Maximus III another target in the passing game to help spread the ball around and create mismatches. DiMirio can line up all over the place... at TE, slot, or out wide, giving NOLA the opportunity to play around and create potential mismatches on offense. This is a good thing a very good thing indeed yes sir yes it is I do believe so myself it is a good thing these trades were good yes they were and help NOLA yes.

Playoff predictions
NOLA beats Otters. Yes you heard it here first the NOLA NOLAers are going to beat the Orange County Otters. This is a very close match up that I think statistically is pretty 50/50 which is really annoying if you are NOLA and you want to win but also annoying if you are the Otters and you want to win either way I think NOLA walks away with this one (please dear lord let NOLA win I beg you)'
Hawks beats Wraiths because I'm feeling pretty spicy this year the Hawks have been outrageously unlucky this season finishing with a record much worse than their actual talent would dictate and they are able to surprise the Wraiths and the world except for people who believe in the Wraiths playoffs curse and are able to squeeze out the win here.
NOLA beats Hawks in the Ultimus and I know what you are thinking you are thinking wow bovo you stupid idiot you are such a homer and guess what you are absolutely right I am a homer I am a big ol homer sandwich with cheese and I am drinking that purple kool aid. If the Wraiths beat the Hawks I think they win the Ultimus no matter who they play.

Playoff Series MVP
The most valuable player during the play off series between the Orange County Otters and the New Orleans Second Line was the man the myth the legend Peg Leg. Peg Leg hit every extra point opportunity and every field goal attempt... and what more can you ask? Hitting the game winner? From 40 plus yards out? Oh snap well guess what bucko that's right he did that too. Peg Leg nailed the game winning kick from 40 plus yards out and to me that's enough for him to be the MVP of the game. What helps his case is that frankly the offense of NOLA sputtered a bit and the game was largely a defensive battle. Blackford Oakes had a case with his clutch interception but really I am going to have to go with my gut on this one and my gut is telling my Peg Leg. Peg Leg don't beg like an egg or greg or an egg named greg but he hegg the keg like Meg with his peg on the reg no lead or fled he get head on the reg like shreck and he shred that leg with his peg spread like peg leg or his name isn't Ted.
