So the TPE that older players would have earned is being awarded?  If so, then that's not as bad.

Personally, I liked that training camp got less useful every year, but agree that 1 TPE isn't a big deal.  I think I prefer the old method, but it's not a big preference.

Yeah, in the table it shows how the TPE for the new method differs from the old method, anyone in a season that would lose TPE (so seasons 3-7) will be given the TPE equal to what they would have lost. I feel like the new training camp is better long term and it helps the younger players become relevant faster
