Historically, we have failed to land FAs for whatever reason. Asipi was the first active FA the Hawks ever signed. He literally doesn't have any competition for this accolade.
Back on topic though, this airing out of grievances was interesting. Without knowing the details behind the scenes, I'd agree with Daybe about the decision making. I imagine some of it can be explained in such a way that makes it seem less like a bad option, but I don't think it's unfair to point these things out at all.
I'm not about to tell people how to GM but it seems like maybe some of the senior players would benefit from being involved in the decision making process a bit more. Assuming they're not already.
