Yes.
Tied for 3rd in interceptions
3rd overall in interceptions if you remove the safties from that stat.
he was fairly consistently near the top for pass deflections and/or interceptions any given year he was active.
CB is a weird position to measure for the hall.
I say he does, but idk.
but he was a HoF locker room presence. I stand by that.
At the end of S9 , Canton is
- Tied 3rd for interceptions (31)
- 24th in tackles (563)
- 4th in defensive touchdowns (5)
- 4th in pass deflections (151)
From that alone I'd be shocked if Canton doesn't make the HOF. Granted another season will likely see him drop a few places (or even rise). He deserves a place.
