I actually think that is becoming more common as the DSFL is becoming more competitive and fun. Players are wanting to stay down to make their mark there before going up to the NSFL.
The only thing is that, as fun as it is, the DSFL is intended to be a feeder league. So no one should feel OBLIGATED to go back down to the DSFL, unless maybe that's what is best for their NSFL team.
