The newest entry to the DSFL is here, and he's looking to be the next big thing in the NSFL. The young, speedy right back import from Belgium is currently in Ottawa with his bags packed as he awaits a call from his agent on where he plays this season. Due to the time of declaring for the DSFL, Thomas Carrasco is going to be going through waivers, though he does have a message for the DSFL GMs before the waiver process begins. "I'm not exactly expecting any starting time in the DSFL right now. My goal is to just help whatever team decides to give me a new home compete in whatever way. I don't see myself sticking around in the DSFL as long as most people do."
Carrasco thinks he is a capable starter in the NSFL and believes he won't need much to prove that. "As cocky as it sounds I think just watching me play will be enough to convince you that I'm the next big thing. I want to be in the big leagues as soon as possible. If I'm not in a starting role I want to be shown the way by the stars in my way. I'm hungry for touchdowns."
