One of the most memorable days of Boss Tweed's life was the day that he was drafted into the NSFL. He faced a lot of uncertainty coming into the draft as he didn't have a good indication of where scouts rated him. Given that it was the NSFL's inaugural draft, it was hard to predict how any of it would play out. Every team needed pretty much every position and there were so many prospects that it was hard to tell how any of them stacked up against each other. Most of the mock drafts only covered the first couple rounds and Tweed didn't appear in any of them, so there was no way to tell where analysts were projecting him to go. The draft got started and it was time for him to wait. The first few rounds went by and all of the teams had filled in their starting running back positions. A few more rounds went by and teams started picking up backup running backs as well. However, Tweed continued to wait to hear his name. Finally, in the 17th round at the 99th pick in the draft, Tweed was selected to the Colorado Yeti. After all the waiting, Tweed had found a home for himself in the NSFL. It was an exciting day as it was the start of his NSFL journey and it's a day he often remembers as he looks for motivation to remind himself to keep playing hard and prove those teams wrong for passing on him.
