That trade also exposed kolbe and undid our QB of the future plans. Thankfully it all worked out in the end.
If you and @BWIII didn't graciously step in and save the team then it wouldn't be in the position it is today. I was too focused on the DSFL to really be a GM and since we didn't have many actives left on the team period. I felt compelled to take over after To left, however, my failure as a GM was overshadowed by kolbe's abrupt departure and I was really the person to blame for abandoning that franchise.
Looking back, I don't think I would have made that trade but then the team wouldn't be where it is today with so many actives because I definitely wouldn't have gone the tank route. I'm also not a great GM...I hate trading, negotiating, managing a budget, etc. I like sim testing, scouting, and finding/helping players with builds that fit within my offensive and defensive schemes rather than being a GM. I don't think I'd ever be a good NSFL GM and the Liberty would be worse off if I was still leading it.
As far as the nice things that @dropbear said, there are definitely things that I contributed for the Yeti behind the scenes that can't be quantified in the sim or through my 500ish TPE player. Sure they couldn't beat Baltimore in the past 2 seasons, but I know they are on the right path after working with the Yeti GMs very closely. I'd like to think I bring a 'Coach' type of mentality to the team and I'm hoping to help NOLA with my knowledge this season.
