I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I somewhat agree with you here. Adams earned the FB designation which means he was in fact lining up as a receiver from time to time (no idea how often). In my mind, that FB designation removes him from the running for RB of the year almost by itself. I do think he is a strong consideration for Offensive Player of the Year though. He was great both through the air and on the ground and a real game-changer for the Otters.
