As much as I love Cooter, he has a significant advantage in that he's a send-down; hell, he was the first overall pick in the NSFL draft. He should be putting up impressive numbers, especially when you look at his supporting cast this season.
Armstrong, on the other hand, is a true rookie, one who was drafted in the 11th round, no less. His team is good, but (in my humble and completely unbiased opinion) not as good as the Marshals. The fact that he's succeeding as wildly as he is, and that his team is doing so well, is huge. I don't think he'll end up as MVP, but QBotY is certainly within his grasp.
