Perhaps not to the same degree as the DSFL draft was, but recreates still have that proven track record of staying active for a full career compared to the rest of us. So should we expect the first 10 picks be predominatly recreates (I don't know how many recreates there are in this class)? Or will they still be spread out through the first few rounds because of position needs and TPE differences?
Despite you, myself and a few other safeties competing for the most TPE at our position, you still have the advantage of being aknown comodity.
so I just combed thru the DSFL draft picks to find all the recreates and I might have missed some but here's the list (i might have missed some):
pick 1 - LB Josh (158) (now inactive)
pick 3 - CB Emoji (248) (phi gm -> 19th pick)
pick 6 - OL Beaver-Dantes (164)
pick 12 - OL Ulysses (196)
pick 13 - DT Morris (221) (recreate of a previously active member that went inactive)
pick 15 - S D'Attoria V (215)
pick 25 - QB Longshaw (198)
pick 74 - RB Bigby (143)
pick 102 - LB Burr-Kirven (136) (was 50 TPE at the time of the draft)
it's pretty few compared to past drafts I think. i was wondering why so here's the list of the seasons of the retired players off the top of my head (aka they will probably be inactive:
S10
S5
S4
S6
S5
S2
S6
S9
S3
And I guess this makes sense, since most of the huge classes (S1-3) have recreated by now. So I think this draft is relatively wide open for new members to get high picks (wink wink).
