Everyone remembers where they were when the plane went down. @infinitempg was always doing crazy stuff. Everyone tried to talk him out of flying that hunk of junk, but its hard to change your bosses mind when he is set on something. Luckily all of the passengers survived, somehow. Also, all of the puppies that were on board survived too. @infinitempg survived too, he was just in a coma, and no one new when he would return.
The Big Salami new what he must do. Without his leader he rallied the team around him.
"I may not be the strongest player, the most active player, the best player, or even the most knowledgeable player, but for some reason I am now in charge, you got that?"
The whole team stood up and clapped and cheered and yelled and screamed in support of their new leader. But what would Tony do now that he had the power? The power he always knew he wanted. First, he paid himself. A lot. The leader needs money, he thought. He then started making calls. To every other GM in the league. He told them that he was open for business and that no piece was un tradeable for the right price. He brought in every player into his office and asked them if they wanted to win. He demanded loyalty and made them pledge fealty to the new King Yeti.
Satisfied by his players promises, he decided not to trade anyone. Also, no one was willing to trade with the new GM on the block and that made it more difficult. Upset as his failure he gave himself another raise from the team coffers. As Tony grew richer, the team began to crumble. Loss after loss mounted up, and the team grew disgruntled. @Frick_Nasty Mo Berry was the first to speak up against Tony. He stormed into Tony's office and demanded that he turn into Colorado into a winning team or he will lead a revolt.
Tony scoffed in his face. "You know that the only reason I haven't traded you is because no other team wants you right? You're garbage Berry, and your keeping this team down."
That was more than Berry could take. That night Berry rallied the team into a full revolt and stormed into Gabagools office where he was sleeping in a pile of money. They woke him up, dragged him out and put him into a truck bound for Mexico. That was the last time anyone saw Tony Gabagool. But there have been rumors of a new start up league in Central America, with the founder referring to himself as "La Salami Grande"
