3) All about the QBs
So, it’s pretty clear the gulf of talent between Portland Pythons QB Franklin Armstrong Jr and Kansas City Coyotes QB Rose Jenkins. I didn’t exactly build Rosie in a balanced manner, so her capped form is, to put it kindly, trash. This is why this matchup is actually really interesting, since the two teams ended up with the same record on the season, 7-7. So how did the Coyotes overcome such a trash QB?
Early in the season I was asked to possibly spend some money to redistribute TPE. Instead of wasting money on something that will be rectified when I leave the team, I mentioned how the rushing game is much more effective in the DSFL than in the NSFL. So, the Coyotes went in on the rushing game. So in this matchup, we see a truly amazing QB in Armstrong going up against Jenkins who will end up handing off the ball for most of the game. Except we saw something unexpected here.
Rose Jenkins actually outperformed Franklin Armstrong. Armstrong completed 16 of his 32 passes for 174 yards and only threw a single touchdown. Jenkins also only threw a single touchdown pass, one of her 11 completions on 20 attempts. The difference was that Armstrong threw two interceptions while Rosie only suffered one. This didn’t matter at all because as I said before, the rushing game is much more effective in the DSFL. The game was won on the ground Rkansaw NA for Portland.

9) Enemies
I don’t like Adriana Falconi. She’s getting too close to being the first woman to win the Ultimus as a QB. I want Rosie to have that honor. My last player Tegan Atwell was previously the first woman to win the Ultimus as a defensive back, as a defensive player, as an offensive player, as a wide receiver, and also just the first woman to win in general and probably the first to win back to back and multiples. Atwell pretty much has all those firsts in the league, but of course there are some first that she couldn’t get due to position. I intend on having Rose Jenkins get that first herself.
So yeah, nothing against Falconi, I just don’t want her to win until Rosie has won. Rosie should be making her way up to the pros this coming season and we’ll see how the rest of her team will support her in this endeavour. All I know is that Falconi isn’t in the playoffs anymore this year so next year it’s up to Rosie herself to keep Falconi from taking that first spot. If she doesn’t, it doesn’t really matter too much; but I’ll feel kinda bad about it for like three seconds and then immediately not care anymore.


19) Expansion Teams
The Chicago Butchers will be coming in with a young super-active QB in Rose Jenkins. While everything is unconfirmed and no talks have been had yet due to legal reasons, it’s assumed that Rosie will be signing in her hometown of Chicago to play for the Butchers. The Butchers don’t really have much yet, since the expansion draft has yet to take place, but there’s a few players that can be assumed to be going to the team.
As previously mentioned, Rose Jenkins has all but signed for the team. This means that they have a franchise QB, but do they have the weapons for her yet? Well, the GM player is already wide receiver Kazmir Oles, who has already made runs into MVP talks recently with his abilities. While one target doesn’t make a full arsenal, he is certainly a start to a great attack.
On the defensive side, D’Pez Poopsie, the other GM, is an impressive defensive tackle and first round pick Lightscout Lewis will hopefully be a rock in the linebacker position.
On a whole, it all depends on the expansion draft and who gets protected. They didn’t really have that much luck with their first rookie draft even though there were so many players available, but they need to get over that and find specific targets. They need a running back, more defense, and possibly another wide receiver to move pressure off Oles.
