I just finished reading these and, while some of these are hilarious, I am blessed to received so much love from my roster. Thanks for all the kind words and vote of confidence. I'm incredibly appreciative that so many guys appreciate the work I put into the locker room and my job as the GM, even if I'm incredibly busy right now and can't be my normal Shaka-mode self.
As this is about myself, I'll talk some about my approach. The reason it's so nice to see so many guys show me some love is that I believe I do a lot to engage my players in the locker room, in the discord and with changes. We've had a QB "controversy", but I don't think it was ever out of hand because I know the key through issues is communication. I created a QB room, I explained my process and it's worked it's self out. The same can be said for our offensive and defensive philosophy. I feel if you communicate, and share why everyone plays a specific part, people appreciate that.
I haven't been able to really sink my teeth into the job, and I hate that. I hate thinking the 70% shaka people are seeing is what they'll think is normal Shaka. Hopefully I get some time, can really dive into our LR, and grease the wheels some more.
I think we're moving in the right direction. Just need to keep grinding. In the end, getting to the championship will be the byproduct of the updates we put in. Winning it will be our reward
