We (and by we I mean TC) edited play files to entirely remove CB blitz because it never ever resulted in a sack and always left a long breakaway touchdown 99% of the time. Maybe the play you're referring to was a safety blitz? Because if the game files are showing CB blitz in the play log than whoever the DSFL simmer is, isn't using the right xml file because that file does not contain CB blitz.

I was curious, so I double checked the plays in question myself. They definitely -look- like CB blitzes. In both plays you got Purchase at the bottom of the screen coming in around the line on a Blitz. I can't tell if the sim is listing him as a CB or Safety on that play, but he's in a traditional football CB position when the play starts.
