(S18) - PT1 - Defense wins Championships!

The San Jose Sabercats aren't really known for any one aspect of their team at the moment but one could say that their defense is the stronger of the 3 facets of the game for them.

Their defense is a young one and mixed with a few veterans such as Freezer, Staley, Tuck, and Deringer. They may not be able to suppress many of the elite offenses in the NSFL but they can do their best to get better every week and to learn from their mistakes as they gain experience.

Their defensive back core is arguably the best aspect of their defense with players such as Staley, Tuck, Brackenridge, and all of their newly drafted rookies which have all looked promising in their start to their careers.

Tyron Brackenridge, as long as he remains on this teams, aims to teach the new rookies in the areas that he excels at such as his tackling skills and how to patrol the field as a ball hawk.

This Sabercats team will be capable of big things in the near future but this season doesn't appear to be as bright due to their youth and relative inexperience and skills.

In order to become one of the great defenses in the league this team needs to invest in the defensive line because Freezer Riposte needs another talented line mate to be truly effective
