The Statement from the Hawks front office was that the team has not met the expectations of ownership and with the impending relocation of the franchise that more moves would be considered during the offseason.
Currently no names have been mentioned but, Baltimore sports radio has been rampant on moving Christmas to San Jose for two tanks of aviation fuel for the Hawks team jet.
When asked specifically about the trading of Marcus Robinson and Damien West the team issued a blanket statement thanking the named players for their time and effort here in Baltimore and it is hoped that this move will reenergize both Robinson and West and motivate the remaining players currently on the Hawks roster.
The long rumored deal to move Peterson allows the Wraith to compete for the championship and gives the Hawks the ability to rebuild through the draft post haste.
