Ah man Halloween is probably one of my least favorite holidays probably because I really never liked the whole of point of dressing up in costumes. But even know I still love the candy, and this year New Orleans is having a mandatory Halloween party…great. I actually put some thought into my costume this year, and wanted to go as someone that I know a decent amount about. So, I went as my favorite super hero, Green Lantern. The costume was not the best, but looked pretty similar to the suit Ryan Reynolds had in the movie. I was happy with the outcome of the suit and even some of my teammates had some crazy costumes too.
They told me Slothface always goes above and beyond for Halloween, which was hard to believe. But when I saw him walk in looking exactly like a transformer it was a sight to behold, no wonder he won our costume contest. But that night we held a fundraiser and had kind trick or treating around the stadium too, it was a blast. Once all the kids left though that is when the alcohol came out and the fun really began. Maybe Halloween is not so bad after all, I had a great time this year with my teammates.
