Ben Green has been the talk of the town when it comes to S2 prospects. It is easy to observe the fact that he has been working hard to improve himself as a player, but one thing that’s not so easy to catch on to is just how much of a team player Ben is. Since Ben has been claimed by the Wraiths, the Wraiths have gone 3-1. His teammates have been quoted saying things like “ Ben is a guy that opens up opportunities for other guys on the defensive line by demanding a double team from the opposing offensive line.” These aren’t things that leave a big imprint on the stat sheet, but they help the team achieve the bigger picture, winning games. It’s tough to say where exactly Ben will land in the draft. Rumor has it he would love to return to Yellowknife and play for the wraiths permanently, however in a recent interview he has stated that he would be happy playing for any franchise that would use a pick on him. While his draft stock is a little cloudy, one thing is not, Ben is going to contribute. Wherever Ben lands, you can expect him to immediately gel within locker room and contribute to a winning culture, whether already established, or one that is just being built.
